Neil is an experienced solicitor who, following a 10 year career in Strathclyde Police where he carried out a wide range of Police activities including uniform duties, enquiry duties, plain clothes and Criminal Investigation Department duties, left the Police in 1990 to undertake a law degree at Glasgow University.
Following the successful completion of the diploma in legal practice Neil did a general traineeship with the firm Stirling & Mair before moving to Kilmarnock where he quickly established himself in the criminal Court, allowing him to set up the firm in 1999. Having spent from 1999-2005 as a sole practioner, and now being assisted by David McPherson, there is no reason why clients cannot be afforded immediate attention which includes dealing with matters through the night and on weekends.
